Play Rayman Legends Challenges on PC with RLCM

The community mod that unlocks the hidden Training Room and provides the foundation for modern Rayman Legends Challenge practice on PC.

Quick answer: RLCM enables the hidden Training Room on PC. From there you can play challenge modes, inject seeds and use community practice tools even though the official PC challenge servers are offline.

What RLCM does

RLCM (Rayman Legends Challenge Manager) enables the hidden developer Training Room on the PC version of Rayman Legends. That Training Room can run challenge modes independently of the now-offline official PC challenge service.

For modern PC challenge practice, RLCM is the foundation. The seed and ghost tools are useful because the Training Room exists to receive them.

Basic setup

  1. Obtain a current version of RLCM from its trusted community or project source.
  2. Launch Rayman Legends and RLCM.
  3. Enable the Training Room option in RLCM.
  4. Restart the game so the required patch is applied.
  5. Enter the Training Room painting and select the challenge type you want to play.
Security note: community modding tools can sometimes trigger antivirus warnings, but do not blindly dismiss a warning. Use the trusted project source and verify the file you downloaded.

What the Training Room gives you

  • Access to challenge types even though the official PC challenge servers are offline.
  • Single-controller Training Room access on PC.
  • Murfy challenge stages that were not normally available as standard PC online challenges.
  • Seed viewing and custom seed injection.
  • Custom combinations of location, objective and timer settings that never appeared in the official rotation.
  • Long or near-unlimited timers for practicing specific rooms without normal event pressure.
  • Compatibility with other community training patches and start-position modifications.

What RLCM does not restore

The Training Room is an offline practice environment. It does not reconnect the PC version to Ubisoft's official challenge servers. You cannot use it to submit scores to the official PC leaderboards, earn Challenge Cups or increase Awesomeness Level through the retired online service.

Ghost support

The PC version can create ghost files from completed runs, but the Training Room does not automatically treat every saved run as the active comparison ghost. The separate ghost-file method documented in this knowledge base explains how to make the game load a selected run as load.
