Why the 1,000,000-Lum grind takes so long
The So Rich! trophy or achievement and the Rayomz skin require a total of 1,000,000 Lums. Even a highly complete save can still be hundreds of thousands short after rescuing the Teensies, collecting Gold cups and using Lucky Tickets.
Grinding ordinary levels works, but the Creature Gallery can be manipulated far more efficiently because its Lum rewards are tied to the platform's local date.
How the Creature Gallery method works
Creatures unlocked through Lucky Tickets generate Lums once per day. With the full gallery unlocked, one complete collection produces 972 Lums.
The game checks the local system date rather than requiring a full real-world day to elapse. Changing the platform date therefore refreshes the creatures immediately.
Step-by-step method
- Unlock as much of the Creature Gallery as possible first. More creatures means more Lums per cycle.
- Enter the gallery and collect every available Lum.
- Open the console or PC date settings and disable automatic date synchronization if required.
- Move the system date to a different day.
- Return to Rayman Legends and collect the refreshed Creature Gallery Lums.
- Repeat the process. You can alternate between two adjacent dates rather than continually moving years into the future.
How fast is it?
A complete gallery yields 972 Lums per cycle. If a completed save has roughly 500,000 Lums remaining to earn, that works out to about 515 full collections.
At roughly 33 seconds per collection-and-date-reset cycle, the method produces around 106,000 Lums per hour, putting a 500,000-Lum remainder at approximately 4 hours 43 minutes. Faster PC menu workflows can improve that rate further.
What unlocks at 1,000,000 Lums?
Reaching the one-million total unlocks Rayomz and completes the So Rich! trophy or achievement requirement.
